The company has no history. The company has present and future. Our 5 million partners have history – the snails of the Helix Aspersa Maxima species. Their history dates back more than 15 million years. It includes symbiotic coexistence with their ancestors trilobites in the Paleozoic Era, the huge dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Era, the cavemen in the Paleolithic Era, the civilization of Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt, the ancient Greeks and the ancient Romans , The Medici family of Renaissance Italy and Versailles aristocracy of France, and to this day. We are grateful to each Helix Aspersa for being as benevolent as to allow us to be partners and give health and beauty together.

Territorial cooperation program - INTERREG MED 2021-2027. The Euro MED 2021-2027 Programme includes mainly coastal regions and islands in ten EU Member States. Other participants, together with Bulgaria, are Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta and Slovenia as well as regions of Spain, France, Portugal, the Republic of North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania. It includes measures in the field of innovation and new technologies, solutions for sustainable and green economy and greener environment for the Mediterranean region, environmental protection, counteraction to marine pollution, waste management, biodiversity conservation and more. Combating climate change and promoting the transition to a circular and efficient economy, green technologies, environmentally friendly renewable energy systems, energy efficiency, the blue economy, etc. are also top priorities.

Our business must be fair and long-term. Trust is the most important asset of each company! However, it takes long time and many efforts to build it. Because of this, all business negotiations, correspondence and business relations of Snails Group are conducted in written form until our contracting parties and partners have enough evidence of our goodwill, honesty, loyalty and predictability. In this context, short-term business contacts and sporadic relations are volatile and affected by the current situation. So, we invite our future contracting parties and partners to act locally but think globally…! For a sustainable, long-term business!
Our business, must be profitable. Snails Group is fully focused on the development of its innovative business enterprise – however, not at all costs! The minimum profitability set by the company does not guarantee the lowest price on the market. Pricing is based on the highest possible quality of the type and class of offered products. We are not compromising quality even if this makes us less competitive in terms of prices. Free trade and markets offer lots of such opportunities and our brand positioning is not associated with compromises on the quality of our goods and services.
Our business must be digital. We automatically control some of the processes, with the help of digital technology, specialized software and measuring instruments specifically applicable in the subfield of snail growing. We measure atmospheric conditions and irrigate snail growing fields, we control microclimate parameters in the incubator and hatchery – temperature, moisture, air current; we get snail slime, or the so called “snail tears” with digital milking modules for snails using a technology with a protective model that is absolutely harmless to Helix Aspersa Maxima.
Our business must be „green“ and „circular“. We grow Helix Aspersa Maxima from the copulation of mature individuals by laying caviar and hatching, until the maturation of individuals, in the natural environment where they are grown, in the way established by nature in the more than 20 million years of history of this species. Also, the carbon footprint of our farm is zero due to the absence of chemical and thermal processes. 100 % of the raw materials used by us in the process of incubation and growing of snails as well as 100% of the production mix of the snail farm is used and is a commodity equivalent in the processing, food, pharmaceutical industries and agriculture, including animal husbandry and aquaculture. Even the shells of Helix Aspersa Maxima are in high demand as raw material for the production of calcifying additives and derivatives.
